Official opening of 'Gaudi Arena'

On Skladochnaya Street, construction of Moscow's largest dance venue, Gaudi Arena, has been ongoing for a year. Over the past year, it has been demolished, transformed, rebuilt, overhauled, and walls torn down again. And finally... The gigantic venue, with a capacity for 7,000 people, has taken its final shape. Two dance floors, VIP balconies, hidden boxes, and a huge stage. Gaudi Arena is opening. The main dance floor consists of a two-story space with a total area of 2300 m2. The second dance floor - 150m2, an isolated area with a separate bar and sound. 7 bars. VIP Area - 1000 m2. Chill-out - 300 m2. Rooftop panoramic restaurant: 500m2 (launch in autumn 2005). Parking 20000 m2. VIP parking - 2000m2. Open air space: 10000 m2 excluding the parking area, for hosting open-air festivals, test drives. The club's opening will feature a set by the official touring DJ Underworld Darren Price. Darren Price is considered one of the most pure and refined DJs in Britain. In the early 80s, he learned to mix records on an old pair of turntables. His passion became acid house, after which he acquired a special sound and reputation that allowed him to play in all the best clubs in the world. His remix portfolio is impressive (UNDERWORLD, DEPECH MODE, NEW ORDER (ELECTRONIC), SVEN VATH, SUPER FURRY ANIMALS, and so on). Now he is considered one of the best techno DJs and will play in Moscow for the first time at the opening of 'Gaudi Arena' on May 27, 2005.
