On July 2nd and 3rd, 2004, one of the most worthy dance clubs of the city, twice honored with the prestigious 'Night Life Awards': in 2001 for 'Opening of the Year' and in 2002 for 'Best Dance Club,' bids farewell to its fans and friends. The closure is planned to be held in the best traditions of the club, with ministerial grandeur. July 2nd, Day One: the best Russian DJs will gather and play their exclusive sets. Those who were at the origins or actively participated in the club's life in recent years delighted our guests with excellent dance music. Our resident DJs will play their special sets: DJ Tech, DJ Ivanov, DJ Volodya. Dancers-residents and the best go-go dancers are invited to participate in the show program. The club's art team is preparing theatrical performances, for which the club was always famous. July 3rd, Day Two - the final day: the celebration continues! Taking over the dance marathon relay is DJ Mike Monday, whose name is among the top 100 in the world. For this day, the club's creative team has prepared a Surprise for the guests, to be presented at 3 o'clock in the morning. Details are not disclosed. All of this, together with the best 'turbo sound' acoustics, sending impulses at 13 kW, and light shows and positive summer funky vibes from DJ Mike Monday, will make you dance all night long without stopping. DJ Mike Monday started working in dance music in 1994, after receiving musical education at Oxford University, he decided to move to London and began recording with Andy Cocup (also known as Big C, now famous as Groove Armada). Their first offer was 'Fatback Boogaloo Wide Open Spaces' on the unfortunately now defunct progressive house label Skinnymalinky - one of the main labels in the late nineties. After the success that came with this single, Mike and Andy teamed up with like-minded individuals and created Beat Foundation (Skinnymalinky/VS records). They received positive reviews from all areas of the music industry after the release of singles like 'Save Me' and 'Foundations.' They also played in all the major clubs in the UK and Europe, including Ministry of Sound, The End, Lakota, and others. Mike and Beat Foundation were directly involved in remixes for Bizarre Inc, Art of Noise, and Delacy. This year, Mike also worked with DJ Gordon Kaye on their joint project Autokat, released on the well-known and highly respected label Deep Dish Yoshitoshi in the USA. They also recorded several remixes for Yoshitoshi. They also collaborate with Darren Emerson (ex-Underworld). Mike worked with Darren on a major remix of Hatiras' 'Spaced Invader.' He also started working with Andy Cocup (Groove Armada) on new material and recently made a remix of Schmoove as JJ Dancefiends on the DIY label. DJing is another way for Mike to spread knowledge in the music field. In 2001, he regularly played for Whoop It Up (nightclub Whoop! records), Fabric, 333, and many other luminaries in the UK. This year, he also played at a Whoop! party during the Winter Music Conference in Miami at the Shadow Lounge. In addition, he is a resident of Retox bar in London. What can shine brighter than the five red stars of the 'Ministry' club?
