On Saturday, September 27, Shambala DJ Bar announces the official closing of the summer terrace. The invited star is DJ Tasty Tim (London), a transvestite and close friend of Boy George. Tasty Tim is a versatile eccentric, a master of transformations, and one of the most authoritative and charismatic figures in London club culture. His DJ career began in the early 80s with residencies at iconic clubs of the time such as 'Cha-Cha' and 'Mud Club', where he played disco. Throughout the 80s, he was a resident DJ at the most famous European gay club 'The Heaven'. Concurrently, he became a sought-after club promoter and promoted the infamous transvestite show venue 'Kinki Gerlinnki'. In the late 80s, Tasty Tim went to work in New York for a year, immersing himself in the emerging house culture. He triumphantly returned to his native 'Heaven', playing one of the first full house mixes in England and gaining widespread recognition as one of the most innovative DJs of his time. His tours extended beyond England, successfully performing in Italy, Germany, Australia, South Africa, and Japan. Tasty Tim is also known for his musical project 'T-total', featuring remixes for giants like 'Pet Shop Boys', Denny Tennaglia, Boy George, with his own tracks consistently appearing on 'Ministry of Sound' mixes. One of his recent projects is the group 'Nedlledust', created with Mark Moore (S-Express). Additionally, his new single in collaboration with Boy George will be released soon.
