Official response from InterActiveMedia regarding Halloween at Petrovsky Palace.

On October 22 at 17:59, a message appeared on the website of the Interfax news agency titled 'Moscow authorities refute rumors about holding Halloween at Petrovsky Palace.' It stated that 'Information about the Halloween celebration at Petrovsky Palace in Moscow is not true.' In response, the organizers of Halloween XIII, the international promoter agency Interactive Media, officially stated that the information about the 'ban' on the holiday is not true. No official information from the Moscow city authorities about cancelling or relocating the event has been received by us. All promotional materials for Halloween XIII included all necessary contact information, such as phone numbers, website addresses, and email addresses. The claim made in the article that 'law enforcement agencies will soon be tasked with investigating who spread the information about a possible Halloween celebration at Petrovsky Palace' seems quite strange to us. We believe that the facts published in this note, as well as the statement 'We caution Muscovites and capital guests against buying tickets for this holiday, as they are knowingly fake,' tarnish the reputation of the Interactive Media promoter agency, which has been specializing in organizing cultural events in Russia and Europe for six years already. Among the projects we have implemented are concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg by bands like Moloko, Dirty Vegas, musicians like Tiesto, Deep Dish, John Digweed, Erick Morillo, as well as the organization and hosting of festivals like Bedrock, 'Ibiza Heat' and many other events. Halloween XIII is one of our main events, traditionally held in Moscow for the sixth consecutive year. Over this time, Halloween XIII has evolved into a true city holiday, becoming the only successful example of a citywide costume ball. This event traditionally receives increased press attention, both domestically and internationally. Therefore, the inaccurate information about the 'ban' on Halloween XIII not only tarnishes the reputation of Interactive Media company, but also harms the prestige of Moscow as a whole.
