Oakenfold and other DJs get into unpleasant situations

This week Paul Oakenfold confessed to Yahoo News that the biggest mishap related to a performance happened to him when he fell off the stage in front of 5,000 New Zealanders. 'They didn't even fence off the edge of the stage, and I didn't notice it. I injured my leg, but got up and kept playing,' the DJ explained, 'I hoped nobody would pay attention to it, but it became the main joke of that night.' Another unconventional DJ, Danny Howells, had a bit less luck. It turned out that the most horrific of all his blunders occurred at a festival in Romania after a particularly bright show. 'I had just finished my set and was messing around with headphones on my head when suddenly I was struck by electricity,' said Danny, 'Some local cameraman started filming me quite closely, and it took me a couple of minutes to realize that blood was pouring from my head.'
