O.n.i. at Gazgolder

O.n.i. is a group of like-minded individuals who are engaged in the simultaneous extraction of sounds from various instruments. The palette of compositions created by the orchestra is colored with the hues of different musical cultures: from archaic, ritual sounds of primitive musical instruments to sounds born from modern electronic devices, from timbres that sounded in the 17th and 18th centuries to modern ones. Each performance is based on improvisation, primarily based on the mood of the musicians – on how their day went, how they feel. As a live collective, the musicians are able to tune into a positive mood and transmit it to their audience. The orchestra develops a musical direction called debris music. Debris is space junk in Nasa's military terminology. If you fly a certain distance from Earth, you can hear the sound vibrations created by our civilization. O.n.i. collect and use this sound debris. On February 1, Thursday, starting at 22:00, Gazgolder club presents a performance by the O.n.i. orchestra.
