The first beach open air The Island and a twelve-hour mash-up show featuring Dub Pistols, Scratch Perverts, Todd Terry, X-Press 2, Layo & Bushwacka, and Junior Sanchez. All guests of this open air become citizens of the 'Island' and receive a document confirming this citizenship - a special passport. Passing the 'border control', they enter an unusual world where there are no straight angles, the main symbol of our boring 'square' world. The show on the island starts at noon with demonstrations by windsurfing masters, continues with amateur tournaments of beach volleyball and football, classes at the 'capoeira school', and ends with a mash-up show. In this multi-hour dance marathon, the main thing is not what musical style you profess, but how skillfully you navigate between different styles, how accurately you catch the wave of people's moods on the dance floor. The audience in this unique mash-up show are not passive spectators, but active participants, accompanying the performances of Dub Pistols, Scratch Perverts, Todd Terry, X-Press 2, Layo & Bushwacka, and Junior Sanchez with the whistles and drums given to them. Dub Pistols (Live) Dub Pistols is modern dance music as we want to see it. In the creations of Dub Pistols leader Bobby Ashworth, the influence of his favorite musicians - Clash, Chemical Brothers, and of course, Bob Marley - is clearly traced. The group's songs are extremely cinematic, and that is probably why they are often used in soundtracks of famous movies, such as 'Blade II', for which Dub Pistiols wrote a track together with rapper Busta Rhymes. Todd Terry One of the pioneers of Chicago house, Todd Terry, has firmly established the nickname 'Todd The God'. He was dubbed the god of dance music back in the late 80s when Todd Terry released incredibly successful remixes of hits by Everything But The Girl, Bjork, Annie Lennox, Sting, and Tina Turner. He remains a god to this day, playing fantastic sets that include house, hip-hop, and Latino music. X-Press 2 The live performances of the X-press 2 trio have long been a legend. They play their music on six turntables at once, turning their performances into a real jam session, comparable in energy to stadium rock concerts. Layo & Bushwacka This DJ duo's name is closely associated with tech-house. Layo & Bushwacka's foundational style is complemented by blues melodies, samples from classic house hits, and sounds of real African drums. Scratch Perverts The name 'Scratch Perverts' is synonymous with the concept of 'DJ battle'. The three members of Scratch Perverts have repeatedly won prestigious DJ contests like Technics World Championship, World DMC, and World Vestax Championship. Their spectacular show is perhaps the best that real hip-hop DJs can offer audiences today. Junior Sanchez Born in Brazil, Junior Sanchez understands 'jinga' philosophy like no one else. Along with Eric Morillo, Jose Nunez, and other representatives of the 'New York school', he created a unique, unparalleled style that combines Latin American rhythms with modern house music. Medicine 8 In terms of the number of hits that have rocked dance floors worldwide, Medicine 8 can compete with many veterans. Their singles 'Capital Rocka' and 'Rock Music Pays Off' are in the collection of any self-respecting DJ. They were admired by Carl Cox, John Carter, and Eric Morillo. MC Dynamite) started in the mid-90s with Roni Size and was part of the legendary Full Circus Crew. Later, MC Dynamite joined the group Reprazent, which received the Mercury Music Prize in 1997 for the album 'New Forms'. In 2001, MC Dynamite began a solo career, continuing to be one of the leaders of the international hip-hop movement.
