Pablo Bolivar Opens the Music Season at Shanti

The new music season at "Shanti" is opened by Catalan artist Pablo Bolivar. The 25-year-old electronic musician started to get acquainted with music from childhood - he hosted his own program on local radio at just 14 years old. Pablo was keenly interested in all music directions, but eventually chose the one that was truly close to him: electronic music and its newest and smartest sounds. Pablo moves to Barcelona, searching for new musical ideas and forms, performing in clubs and at festivals. In 2003, he receives an offer from the label Regular. Pablo Bolivar's first full-length album was released on Regular in January this year. "Anjanas" is a fancy mixture of dance and experimental electronica. Simultaneously under the pseudonym Paper, Pablo releases records on labels Bay Street, Pulsewith, Galaktika, Dpress, and makes remixes. Pablo currently lives in Barcelona and is part of the Decodermuzique team, a major Spanish electronic music distributor and booking agency. In his personal top ten, "The Line of Nine" by SCSI-9 ranks first, and in his live performances, he tries to convey his vision of electronic music - hot, alive, deep, and always full of true groove.
