Pan Tone, as press releases describe him, is 'a man of many faces'. Originally, he was a person named Sid LeRock, born in a forgotten Canadian town. A boy with big dreams, but he studied poorly in 'tight' circumstances. He didn't listen to his well-behaved dad. He once followed the advice of his dancer mom: go ahead, my son, fulfill your dream! And immediately set out to conquer the world. The dream was music. After going through the 'school of life' in Windsor, then in Toronto, Sid LeRock approached his goal. Known for his dual nature and the ability to combine (in music) confident grace with aggressive technique, fans dubbed him 'Barracuda', after that dangerous fish. Sid LeRock became Senor Shelbono 'Barracuda' del Monte. And after an unpleasant incident, he decided to change his name to Pan Tone. The first thing associated with his name, the artist's personal invention, is his trademark style - ROKNO, rock + techno. It's easier to hear than to explain what it is. For his 'Green bottles & Teen Models e.p. & Unsubscribe e.p' on the Sub-Static label, he was dubbed a 'hero-maniac'. Pan Tone is a troublemaker. That's why he is loved. He can easily take the stage with a bottle of whiskey in hand. Play and drink. And around him, there will be rioting in the best traditions of rock concerts. Not stupid, but stylish. Otherwise, he wouldn't be invited to clubs like Rex Club and Batofar (Paris, FR), Zoo Bizarre (Bordeaux, FR), La Villa Rouge (Montpellier, FR), Studio 672 & Subway (Cologne, Germany), Stern Radio/Polar TV & WMF (Berlin, DE), The Womb (Tokyo, JP), Magnet Club/Yellow Club (Tokyo, JP), Dachkartine (Zurich, Swiss), Basement (Copenhagen, DEN), Mutek Festival (Toronto CAN, Marseille FR, Montreal CAN), Sound System Bar & Element Club (Toronto, CAN), The Shelter (Detroit, USA). Today, as befits a true 'electronist', Pan Tone lives in the center of the music world - Cologne. He releases music on labels like Sender, Sub-Static, 240 volts. But he has not changed his habits. In his modest 'rider', no matter which country he travels to, there are always four items. One of them is a bottle of whiskey.
