Ikra presents on March 11 "Anti>>Video": "All Evil from Riga" - the premiere of a new series of parties. The "Anti>>Video" parties, part of the authorial video art project by VJ AntiShanti, one of the leading specialists in visuals in Russia, take place in "Ikra" every second Saturday. Her video works feature abrupt, sharp montages, under the influence of which you feel like you are on the dance floor at the center of a tank battle. After them, at six in the morning, you stumble out of the club saying, "Mom, I survived this!"
This type of video lives its own life in the club, where direct communication with the audience is possible, where there is much more drive than in a laboratory, where one can sense the reference to early films by French surrealists of the 1920s (the forefathers of video art) and Andy Warhol's films from the times of "The Factory". AntiShanti knows how to achieve the magic of reality substitution - a magic that cinema, limited by the plane of the screen, strives for but never reaches. Special guests of AntiShanti that night will be a team of VJs from Riga: drum-n-bass and deep listening music with the most beautiful and uncompromising video on one sixth, hence the name of the party.
