Музыкальные российские · 23.09.2009
The Russian online label Fragment, launched by DJ Artem Anrilov in 2005 for lovers of deep techno music, now has a sublabel called Passage. The new project, created by Evgeny Shchukin from the Krasnodar project Modul with the support of the Fragment and ESB team, is intended for the release of musical compositions in the styles of ambient, glitch, minimal dub and other related areas.
The first release on Passage was the album of the Feldmaus project - a collaboration between Modul and the northern electronic experimenter Suokas (aka Slow). Japanese guitarist Imachi Akira also took part in the recording of some tracks.
In the future, the label's catalog is expected to be replenished with works by famous Russian electronic artists and their foreign colleagues, as well as a series of Passage Sessions parties, which will be held in the style of sessions from Fragment. In addition, it is planned to release review compilations and mixes on CD. All music presented on the label's website is distributed free of charge, you just need to read the terms of the Creative Commons license.http://www.passagemusic.net
