John Tejada's First Experiments Will See the Light

John Tejada is preparing a new release "Recovered Data 95" - a collection of early works released under his old alias Lucid Dream. The story of this disc dates back to 1995 when the freshly minted producer Tejada was recording and compiling tracks for the A13 Records label. By the time the musician was finishing his long play, the A13 label abruptly changed its concept towards dance music and asked John to accordingly redo the recording (the result of which was the 1997 released album Pure Punk). The other tracks, which the musician worked so hard on, have not seen the light of day until now.
Some time ago, the American label Phthalo Records decided to rectify this gross oversight and release John Tejada’s "Recovered Data 95" as part of the "Phthalo Origins" series.
"When I started digitizing my old cassette recordings, I stumbled upon this release, which still holds a special place in my life," the musician shared: "I always worried that by releasing so many records, I would never be able to gift the world this album. But today I am confident that having done this hard work, I will always be proud of 'Recovered Data 95,' even 14 years later..."
