The First Concert from the Podcast Breathe Deeper

With the arrival of spring, we are pleased to share excellent news with you. The website 44100hz and the creative association "Leibniz" are launching a series of events at the "Shanti" club. They are named the same as the podcast "Breathe Deeper"→ on 44100Hz, which is dedicated to interesting projects and phenomena in Russian electronics. And this is not a coincidence. Now podcast participants can not only be listened to at home but also seen live and even touched in the well-known club.
At the first podcast session at "Shanti" will perform the participants of the fresh episode→ "Breathe Deeper", the Krasnodar trio Modul. Despite their young age, the musicians have already caught the attention of the most authoritative Russian (Pro-Tez, Fragment) and European labels (Level, Harthouse).
In the past couple of years, the trio's members have gone from home experiments in Krasnodar to performances in Russia and Europe and releases on global level labels. Among their publishers are deep-techno haven Level Records, Belgian label U-Cover, and even the digital division of the legendary Harthouse founded by Sven Vath a decade and a half ago.
The ensemble focuses on creating electronic music in various directions - from "home electronics" to various dance compositions, as well as live performances. The symbiosis of melodic IDM, elements of classical electronics and modern rhythms is a distinctive feature of Modul's sound. When creating their works, the team uses both analog and digital equipment, as well as acoustic instruments and devices of their own design. The participants of the project believe that a modern musician must wisely combine various means, use all available resources and not be confined to one style. Modul is a subtle balance between complex and colorful, simple and colorless, a complex structure of many original details.
