Four Tet's music is made up of drumming, keyboard runs, and sensitive guitar strums; it fusses, bubbles, rustles, lives its own special life; it has many layers, it is full of labyrinths and mysteries - but at the same time retains innocence and pristine beauty. His tracks are reverent, fragile and tender; they keep their word of honor and it seems that they are about to crumble, turn into a cacophony - but Hebden confidently keeps the rhythm, builds sonorous melodies, nurtures samples. There is no person on the planet who is better able to bring human warmth into cold experimental electronics - and you will be able to see him in Moscow only once and only at Ikra. As a significant addition - a performance by a citizen of the world Tonearm, a New York multi-instrumentalist of Russian origin, who writes smart, precise and romantic electronics, and when the mood takes him, he arms himself with a guitar and sings.
