The First Rave of the New Year 'Other 1'

Promo group 'Znaki', radio station 'Dinamit FM', magazine 'Ne Spat!', Internet portal www.44100.com and label 'World Club Music / Pravitelstvo Zvuka' proudly present the first party 'Other', organized as part of the tribute project 'Remember Everything'. The year 2006 is an anniversary year for Moscow's dance culture. Twenty years ago, in the winter of 1986, the 'Disco Workshop' was formed, uniting disparate Moscow sound systems, and this date is accepted as the starting point of the modern dance movement. The 'Remember Everything' project aims to create a truthful history of this movement. In addition to publishing the memoirs of participants in the events in the magazine 'Ne Spat!', on the special website www.44100.com/history, DJ Fonar's own program 'Znaki' on radio 'Dinamit FM' and the release of a series of 'nostalgic' albums by genre leaders on the 'Pravitelstvo Zvuka / World Club Music' label, the project involves holding a series of reunion parties in Moscow clubs and independent venues. The first such party, 'Other', will take place on January 13, 2006 at Moscow's largest dance club Gaudi Arena. It is expected that about two thousand people will take part in this action, aimed at uniting all Moscow clubbers who 'have something to remember'. DJs who have truly made history of the dance movement over these twenty years will perform on the two independent dance floors at Gaudi Arena. In the first real rave of 2006, members include Fonar, Gruv, Spider, Fish, Volodya, Grad, Finist, Den, Digger, Miha Voron, Magic B... The lineup of participants is constantly expanding. Each of the DJs involved in the action presents a special period of this eventful two decades. It will be a unique musical journey through the times of 'Gagarin party', the first dance clubs, the eras of the formation of Moscow trance, techno, and progressive house sounds, Russian outings to the Berlin Love Parade and Ibiza. The DJ sets will include original tracks of that time, the best dance hits from 1986-2006.
