Afisha Picnic is a summer open-air festival within Moscow. The event takes place at the Kolomenskoye museum-preserve and attracts tens of thousands of spectators. The Picnic gathers contemporary musicians from Russia and around the world, along with an audience eager to stay updated on fresh trends in music, fashion, and contemporary art: capital city fashionistas and the best city stores bringing various trendy items, people trying to visit all the stages, workshops, and Picnic shows, and those who just want to lounge on the grass and play badminton. This is something like a Moscow premiere—until then, Cut2Kill had only had a full concert in St. Petersburg, at the SKIF festival. The premiere will be held on the main stage of the Picnic—simply because it's hard not to trust these people; they know which buttons to press. In Cut2Kill, Mudjus and Dza, who do a lot together, according to them, organize a classic rave—not a cloned one, of course, but as if replayed anew, using the latest technical means, with tweaks and tricks, with intelligence, imagination, and diligence.
