Planet Funk at the First ArtArea Party

On March 20, the ArtMania agency, known for producing jazz festivals, is hosting a performance by the Italian musicians Planet Funk at Milk Moscow as part of the ArtArea project.

Planet Funk has been playing electronic music since 2000. Today, the band consists of Sergio Della Monica, Alex Neri, Domenico Gi-Gi Canu, and Marco Baroni. Their singles Chase the Sun, Inside All the People, and Static have enjoyed significant commercial success. However, Planet Funk is not only known in the world of electronic music. When their track Chase the Sun reached number five on the UK charts, it caught the attention of the famous sports channel Sky Sports. Now, the channel uses the composition in tournaments of the Professional Darts Corporation. The single Static features in the computer game FIFA 08. The army of Planet Funk fans grows every day, and the popularity of the group has long reached a global scale.

Under the ArtArea brand, more than seven concert parties will be organized throughout the year at one of Moscow's clubs. All parties in the ArtArea project will follow a single scheme: the main performer will be an iconic band that combines electronic and live instruments in its work. A DJ set will precede the band’s performance, and there will be an after-party at the end of the evening.
