Norman Feller started working in the dance music industry in 1989, and soon began releasing his first tracks under various aliases. In 1994, Norman decided to fully dedicate himself to music and a year later adopted the alias 'house project Terry Lee Brown Jr.' to refine his own sound. It was at this time that the very young Plastic City label emerged for releasing records, to which Norman remains loyal to this day. His debut album 'Brother For Real', a fusion of jungle and trance elements, released by Feller on Plastic City in 1996, marked a milestone for techno-house. English magazine Muzik, alongside albums by DJ Shadow, Fugees, Underworld, and Faithless, named Norman's work one of the best records of the year. In the fall of 1997, Terry Lee Brown Jr. released his second album 'Chocolate Chords,' which was listed by the American magazine Mixmag as one of the top five albums of the year. In addition to his own music, Norman is actively involved in DJing, with six 'Terry's Cafe' compilations and parties of the same name on one side, and remixes for Future Funk, Nalin & Kane, Gabrielle, Grace Jones, Joey Negro, and Paul Van Dyk on the other. The third album 'From Dub Til Dawn,' released in 2000, is the result of two years of work, recorded in the traditional techno-house style of Terry Lee Brown Jr., with abundant deep bass, fragmented vocals, and cosmic breaks. The eighth track 'Take Your Time' was recorded by Norman together with his friend The Timewriter. In short, Terry Lee Brown Jr. is a respected, experienced, fashionable artist, yet to reach cult status but on the path to it. Moreover, the records that Norman Feller will bring to Moscow from Germany will not be unfamiliar to clubbers who are not acquainted with the work of the German producer, as techno-house has been playing to some extent all summer in most Moscow clubs.
