Paul Van Dyk now plays pop music

Paul Van Dyk (Matthias Paul) is one of the leading global dance DJs and producers. Born on December 16, 1971, in Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburg, East Germany. He emerged on the club scene in 1991 as a DJ at the Berlin club Tresor, and in 1992 his first record was released as part of the collective The Visions of Shiva. Today, this German trance master consistently draws crowds of thousands and is known worldwide for his soul-touching music that uplifts the mood not only of clubbers but also of critics. Paul Van Dyk was recognized as the best DJ of the last two years by DJMag. For his new album, set to be released very soon, Paul has prepared several collaborations with colleagues from the dance scene as well as with some pop stars.
