Portishead: The Odd One Out?

We've been waiting for this for ten years - that's how long the Bristol natives Beth Gibbons, Geoff Barrow (grew up in the town of Portishead near Bristol - hence the name of the band), and Adrian Utley, better known to the world as Portishead, kept their creative silence: no full-fledged concerts, no releases. And this is after the band made a big splash worldwide with their first two albums Dummy and Portishead, helping to define the trip-hop genre alongside their peers Massive Attack and Tricky. For some, to this day, the words 'Portishead' and 'trip-hop' are more or less synonymous.
