The Last Open-Air Event of the Year - DJwaterFest'02

From October 12 to 13, 2002, a luxurious four-deck cruise ship the 'Maxim Rylsky' sets sail from the Northern River Station for the DJ WaterFest'02 festival. The flagship of the river fleet will embark on a 24-hour journey through the waves of the best club music from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and London. Leading DJs from Moscow and St. Petersburg, half of the 'best people' from both capitals, as well as foreign activists of club cultures, and of course, all sympathizers will explore the most picturesque places near Moscow to excellent music and in a guaranteed pleasant company. The 130-meter liner is equipped with the latest technology, has four residential levels, and an observation deck with indoor and outdoor dance floors. Two dance floors, a chill-out area with a cinema, restaurants, bars, comfortable cabins equipped with a shower, refrigerator, and climate control system are ready to accommodate up to 500 festival guests. The headliner of the festival is Dj Leo Elstob (London), one of the creators of the 'CHICANE' project, owner of the record labels 'Cyanide' / 'Beans', resident of London clubs 'Electric Stew', 'Barrio & Fabric'. Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novosibirsk are represented by the best house, tech-house, and electro DJs: Sanches, Kubikov, Fish, Meshkov, Phil, Lavski, Raf, Cosinus, Deev, Helga, Ukho, Be Voice, Cross, Flash and d. In September 2001, a unique 3-day journey was organized on the Moscow - Uglich - Moscow route on the four-deck ship 'Felix Dzerzhinsky' with the participation of leading DJs from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and New York. The event was a continuation of the 'Rynda party' parties (club 'Moscow 28') and was named 'Big Rynda'. The event was covered in Russian and foreign media somehow related to dance culture. 'Big Rynda' was attended by about 500 people, including representatives of radio stations, television channels, newspapers, and magazines.
