Celebration for All Clubbers or DJ Day!

Solyanka continues to surprise us with its vision of club life. On the 9th of March, the club will host a party dedicated to the professional holiday of disc jockeys – DJ Day. On the 9th of March – on a random day off – Solyanka celebrates DJ Day. For this occasion, a special lineup has been devised. The residents of the Friday Nu:Gravity will play hip-hop, dubstep, and other head-bopping types of black music. And the folks from the Flammable Family will bring in some old Detroit and Chicago – good techno and house music. And Fedor Kto DJ Bumer, acting as an indirect headliner, will mix it up in freestyle (keep in mind that his roots are in d'n'b). This day is not listed as an official holiday in Russia or globally, yet it exists. In 2002, two organizations – World DJ Fund and Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy – organized a series of charitable events worldwide under the umbrella of World DJ Day. They managed to raise over a million dollars, and the gala dinner – the final party – took place in London with great pomp. Since then, no such large-scale actions have been undertaken (as DJs are, in general, a difficult to organize chaotic biomass, albeit in some places not devoid of consciousness). In reality, such a professional holiday is vitally necessary to at least begin the official legalization of DJ work (as there is no such profession in the labor code, DJs are practically deprived of retirement benefits because they work freelance and are not insured against anything). "Solyanka" really liked this idea, despite being annoyed by many other Western holidays. This is the first special event of the year!
