Preliminary Lineup of Sonar Festival

The organizers of the Spanish summer music and multimedia art festival Sonar have announced a detailed list of artists who will perform in Barcelona from June 18 to 20. In addition to the previously announced headliners from the duo Orbital, the Catalan capital will host: the recently released new album by Grace Jones; the artists who visited Moscow in February, Marcel Dettman and Shed; Karin Dreijer, the solo project participant from the Swedish group The Knife known as Fever Ray; Martyn, Deadmau5; members of the groups Apparat and Modeselektor – Moderat, and many others. The labels Ed Banger, Ostgut Ton, Sunday Best, and Red Bull Music Academy will present their artists. However, the organizers mention that the announced lineup is not final – new additions will be made to the list of participants in the near future. Nonetheless, it is already evident that the sixteenth edition of Sonar promises to be one of the main events of the summer music season.
