Presentation of Nina Kraviz's mix "Hi-Brow Dance"

On November 11, at the Mio club, with the support of the SoundHunters label, a presentation of Nina Kraviz's mix "Hi-Brow Dance" will take place. The party will feature one of the most prominent representatives of neo-disco, whose releases are released on several cult Dutch labels Clone, Bunker and Creme Organisation, and a leading Finn with a Dutch perspective on music, Bangkok Impact.
Finn Sami Liuska's project Bangkok Impact gained fame after his first twelve-inch Junge Dame mit freundliche tel was released in 2000 on the cult Dutch label Creme Organisation. The track became an immediate hit and appeared on many compilations over the course of a couple of years, including the Cocoon label's mix and the popular Mezzanine de L'Alcazar series. Since then, Sami has been dubbed a neo-disco star, an innovator who has achieved an incredibly truthful sound in music inspired by the 70s and 80s. Thanks to his talent and impeccable taste, Bangkok Impact became the first and only Finnish musician (with the exception of his partner in another neo-disco project Liuska Putsch’79) to be released on the main Dutch electro labels Clone, Bunker and Creme Organization and Viewlexx. The album "Treveller" is still considered one of Creme's main releases, and the title track from the record was included in the famous Disco-tech... of Alexander Robotnick mix, released on Bob Sinclar's Yellow label in 2004. Bangkok Impact's music is unmistakably influenced by everything we remember about the '70s and '80s, from classic electro to cheesy Italo-disco and early house music. The live performance of Bangkok Impact is an energetic electro-disco in the best traditions of the original source, dressed in a relevant modern form.
