Presentation of the new album by Aquasky

In Beat We Trust continues the expansion of stars from the British electronic scene. March 10 will be a holiday for all fans of breakbeat music. And contributing to this will be the arrival of Aquasky! And most importantly... the new album by Aquasky - Team Players - will be presented at this party! And Moscow will be the first place where this will happen! Dave Wallace, Brent Newitt, and Keiron Bailey aka AquaSky have a whole army of fans worldwide. The reason for this is their versatility in musical preferences. The Aquasky story began in 1995 when three close friends decided to record some drum'n'bass tracks. The demo tape caught the attention of the Moving Shadow label, where Dave Wallace, Brent Newitt, and Keiron Bailey were offered to release a few mixes. Soon, having attracted the attention of more reputable labels, Aquasky became part of Polydor. Their first release on Polydor was the 6-track 'Orange Dust' - a stunning blend of drum and bass and hip-hop. For the recording, talents such as Big Shug from Gangstarr and Scratch Perverts were specially invited. In 1997, after releasing the Strategy/Vortex on Polydor, irreconcilable differences arose between both sides, and the relationship with the record label was terminated. In 1999, Aquasky returned to Moving Shadow, where they recorded 'Bodyshock', followed soon after by 'Aftershock', and then a series of works with London Electricity, Rob Playford, Mr. Scruff, and Adam Freeland. It is worth noting that it was after meeting Adam Freeland that Aquasky began experimenting with Nuskool Breaks. The release of Aftershock was a serious turning point in the collective's work, as they began to pay special attention to breakbeat from that moment on. Starting in 2002, one release after another took on a slightly different direction, and the sound became more energetic and broken. Today, their signature style is the so-called funky-breaks. With the launch of their own nu-school break-step label Passenger, Aquasky have already reached the same level as stars like Backdraft, Infekto, Autobots, and Freestylers, and today they pose quite a serious competition to them. Among the admirers of the collective's work are influential personalities such as Laurent Garnier, Plump DJs, Freestylers, and Tayo. Currently, Aquasky are working in the studio on their new album, and one of the first places where they will present it will be Russia. A special tour of Russia, named Team Players, is being prepared for this purpose. March 10, Friday, club 'Gorod', starting at 23:00. Special guest: Aquasky (UK).
