Presentation of the new album SCSI-9 "The Line Of Nine"

Scsi 9 are electronic celebrities of the Moscow club scene, Anton Kubikov and Maxim Milyutenko - artists with a European reputation, whose records are released on the highly respected Cologne label Kompakt. They represent Russia at electronic festivals, perform in Warsaw, Berlin, and the historic London club Fabric, organize the main electronic parties in the city (like Techверги at "Flegmatichnaya Sobaka"), and set musical trends by releasing music on their own label Protez. Continuing the long chain of vinyl releases, three years after the album "Digital Russian", the Moscow techno duo SCSI-9 release their second full-length album "The Line Of Nine". The musicians present 12 new compositions in a "minimal" style, imbued with the lyrical nature characteristic of SCSI-9, for which British critics have long called them the "new romantics" of contemporary electronic music. The new album covers a wide range of music: from atmospheric deep house and experimental clicking sounds to club hits. The title track of the album "The Line Of Nine" is a philosophical contemplation of the micro- and macrocosm - sung by the promising new vocalist Kate. The visuals will be presented by Antishanti, who decorates performances of respected electronic musicians with her video collages. Her video world is filled with meanings and allusions that create a parallel narrative on the screen. Today she is a video program curator at one of the clubs in Moscow and a frequent guest at all prestigious nightlife venues.
