Prodigy have created their own record label

British music collective The Prodigy have founded their own music label, called Ragged Flag. It is reported that the group's new album will be released on this label. Thus, the long-term collaboration with the record studio XL Recordings, on which their latest album 'Their Law' (2005) was released, has come to an end. According to The Prodigy musicians, Ragged Flag's activities will not be limited to releasing works of its founders, and the label will also work with records of other 'suitable groups', as reported by @Music. At the beginning of its operation, the newly established company of musicians will receive support from the British label Cooking Vinyl. "We've been planning to create our own label for a long time, intending to release our new album on it," commented the leader of The Prodigy, Liam Howlett, on the creation of Ragged Flag. The release date of the new album, which will be released by the trio on their own, is unknown, as well as its title has not been announced. However, according to The Prodigy frontman, the outline of the new album is already taking shape. "We have already recorded several songs for the upcoming record, and they sound just amazing," said Liam Howlett. As mentioned earlier, the creation of their own record label by The Prodigy musicians marks the end of their collaboration with XL Recordings studio, which started with the single 'Charly', a classic rave track that reached third place in the official UK singles chart in 1991.
