Simple Pleasures of Ivan Rudyk

On July 13, a closed party will take place at the club-restaurant Simple Pleasures to celebrate the birthday of Russia's number one DJ Ivan Rudyk. About 300 friends and house and electro music enthusiasts, personally invited by Ivan, will gather to celebrate his 31st anniversary and 16 years of creative activity. Besides the guest of honor, the headliner of the party will be renowned Italian DJ and producer Andrea Bertolini.

"Andrea Bertolini is not just a good DJ," Ivan Rudyk comments, "his production talent has manifested in a new unique sound that I am sure guests will appreciate. This will be a gift for all my friends." To date, tracks in the electro-house style produced by Bertolini are the best-selling in Italy. Andrea is highly sought after as a DJ in the best European clubs. He will come to Moscow ahead of the Russian release of his solo album, which is released on Ivan Rudyk's label Electrica Records, with the official distributor being Diamond Records. Each invited guest will receive a promotional copy of the album as a gift, along with recently released mixes by Rudyk: Come with Me and From Russia with Sound.

Sets by foreign dance music stars at Ivan's festive parties have already become a tradition. Two years ago, David Morales was behind the turntables, and at the 30th birthday party of the Russian DJ, his colleagues Tom Neville and the duo Simon & Shaker performed.

The place chosen for his birthday celebration is also not accidental. "Simple Pleasures combines comfort and democracy," Ivan Rudyk says, "it's a very stylish establishment, devoid of kitsch and pomp.
