In September, Yamaha will present to the wider public its new development, Tenori-On, a unique specimen of new generation show technology.
The novelty is an LED matrix that can be used by musicians and DJs to create very spectacular audio-visual shows.
Tenori-On was invented by Japanese media artist Toshio Iwai back in 2001. It took five years to finalize it. Nevertheless, it has already been showcased at various festivals: Sonar, Futuresonic, Ars Electronica. Moreover, some of the most impatient musicians have already managed to use the invention in their shows. This technological wonder was used during concerts by Kraftwerk, Matthew Herbert, Mouse On Mars, Cornelius, Atom Heart.
The presentation will take place at the Phonica Records music center in London. The invention will be presented by its creator, and some of the musicians who have already used it will give their performances.
The event will be held at:
51 Poland Street, London, W1F 7RJ
Vinyl Factory Phonica Records
Free admission.
