Radio show Garage ceases broadcasting

The radio show Garage is ending its broadcast on the station Europa Plus. The project started in the spring of 1996 and over these years has been an encyclopedia of electronic music for many listeners. "The programming management of Europa Plus has decided to abandon any projects containing musical content different from the linear broadcast of the radio station. However, we continue to collaborate and produce the program Euromix (on Saturdays from 00:00 to 02:00 (Moscow time)). This compilation is stylistically close to the daytime broadcast of the radio, but does not intersect with the Europa Plus playlist," commented Garage Sound System member and DJ Oleg Sukhov. The Garage show will continue to air on radio Europa Plus Ukraine (20 cities) and will be available on the official website www.garagefm.ru. Currently, the Garage Sound System collective (DJs: Suhov, Polina, Viper) is selecting an FM partner. Meanwhile, in early April, a new radio station GarageFM will be launched. Its 24-hour broadcast will consist of 80% of episodes of the Garage program from different years. The remaining 20% will include guest mixes from contemporary representatives of the electronic music scene.
