Rambler Future Music Fest in St. Petersburg

For the first time in Russian history! On September 26, on the Russian Internet Day, a festival of cutting-edge electronic music will take place in St. Petersburg, which hundreds of thousands of Internet users will be able to see in real-time! Leading names of the Russian electronic scene and special guests - the legendary duo Stoloff & Hopkinson (UK) - will perform simultaneously at multiple venues across the city, connected through a live broadcast on the specially created website www.rambler.ru/fest. Festival guests will be presented with a wide range of musical genres, and Moscow residents will be able to watch periodic broadcasts on street plasma screens from the venues in St. Petersburg! The festival will also feature a unique network press conference between Moscow and St. Petersburg, with prominent figures from the Russian online community and iconic personalities related to the philosophy/history/design of the Internet space participating. The festival schedule (by venues and music genres) includes performances at Rambler's Net Chill-Out ("CafeMax on Nevsky") featuring Ambient music, Rambler's Plug-n-Play (Red Club) showcasing IDM and electro-hip-hop projects, and Rambler's Hype Aerobica at club "Parъ.spb" presenting electro and sinthy-pop music evoking the spirit of the 80s. Stoloff & Hopkinson, known for their music that merges funk, hip-hop, and emerging electronic technologies, will headline the event, along with other performers such as Zelany Rashoho, Ёлочные Игрушки, Alexandroid, PCP, KLUtCh, Good-OK, and DJs Chak, Слон, Мухоморов and others. In addition to their music, Stoloff & Hopkinson are famous for their live performances, where they create a stylish show using specially shot videos, costumes, and custom-built equipment. They have played at events in England alongside artists like Luke Vibert and Kruder & Dorfmeister. Stoloff & Hopkinson have released albums on English and Japanese labels, with their 2002 album "Documents Enclosed" being available in Russia on the Cheburec label. Their music, characterized by original ideas, incorporates diverse sounds sampled from vintage vinyl records combined with modern drum programming and unique rap vocals, resulting in a distinctive sound appreciated by many.
