Red Bull Music Academy 2006

The deadline for applications to participate in Red Bull Music Academy 2006, which will take place in Melbourne this year, is the third of June. It is a unique two-week music seminar where participants attend lectures by masters like Carl Craig, Theo Parrish, and Jeff Mills, and then record in specially equipped studios with or without mentors, performing at the city's best clubs at night. Informational meetings were held in several cities in Russia, featuring Italian electronic guru Alexander Robotnick, Briton Dave Jones aka Zed Bias, and one of the leading nu-jazz musicians Mark de Clive Lowe to demonstrate how it all works. Participants asked questions about joining the Music Academy and were interested in music-related topics including production nuances and DJing.
