Release of Information Ghetto on Stolen Moments
Клубные российские · 15.11.2009
In the summer of 2009, the well-known Dutch label Manual Music included the track Big Notes by the Russian project Information Ghetto (Clapan & Negative Light) in the compilation Summer Movement. As a continuation of this collaboration, Stolen Moments (a sublabel of Manual) released the EP of the project titled How to Build a Brain in November 2009. The EP included a remix of the track by the renowned European electronic artist Xpansul. With this release, Information Ghetto explores the mechanical romance of minimal techno with a deep, almost dub-like sense of space. The duo fits perfectly in terms of sound selection among the artists of the Stolen Moments label, including such prominent figures as Paul Hazendonk and Andrew Technique. The label describes Information Ghetto's tracks as "pearls of intelligent techno," and characterizes Xpansul's remix as a "powerful dancefloor bomb"!
