Mr. & Mrs. Cameron are musician Richard Cameron and Karin Ras, who acts as a promoter and DJ. Together they have toured all the trendiest clubs in Europe and Japan, playing completely unpredictable sets. "When we DJ, we try to convey the same mood that we cultivate in our recordings. There are no musical boundaries, no style, dictation, or dogma. We play everything from drum 'n' bass to house and from big beat to easy listening, what seems most appropriate in the situation." For the last two years, Mr. & Mrs. Cameron have been touring the best clubs in European capitals. The mixed but not shaken audio cocktail is truly magnificent: soft jazz melodies smoothly flow into strictly electronic works and back, sometimes drifting into retro and then returning to relaxed lounge - music for exquisite parties and fine gourmets. The head of the musical family, Richard Cameron, began his creative journey in 1979, performing as a vocalist and songwriter with the group Desert Corbusier. Soon he met Jerry Arling: the duo was one of the first to popularize lounge music. Their very first single drew the world music business's attention to Dutch DJs, earning them the title of "kings of easy listening" through successful collaborations with Pizzicato Five, Touch & Go, Bebel Gilberto, Cornelius, and Fantastic Plastic Machine.
