Detroit is the birthplace of techno music at the end of the last century, where people engaged in creativity and technological development. Detroit still holds the status of a global music capital, as confirmed by a recent performance where a robot acted as a conductor with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Notably, 98 musicians performed the composition 'Impossible Dream'. The humanoid robot Asimo conducted the orchestra surprisingly well. The experiment was conducted to draw attention to the work of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as part of 'The Power of Dreams Music Education' foundation. Honda, the creator of the Asimo robot, interested in the foundation's work, donated one million dollars for music education for children from underprivileged families. Additionally, Asimo visited several schools in Detroit, where students could see it firsthand and get acquainted with the new unusual musical technology. Honda representative Jeffrey Smith stated that robots like Asimo will be available for sale very soon, and the impossible will become possible. Details can be found on the Honda website.
