Roger Sanchez to Make Film Debut

American house DJ Roger Sanchez is following in the footsteps of superstars like Paul Oakenfold in composing music for films. When working on movies, you compose a track that corresponds to the mood of each individual scene, rather than just some dance motif, thus the music is closely related to what is happening on the screen at that moment," says Roger, "it is a very unusual way of composing music and in the future I want to actively develop in this direction." Roger will make his film debut in "Johnny Postal" as a pimp-drug dealer, in love with one of his prostitutes. He even wrote the music to suit his character and make him more vivid. As for the film "Johnny Postal" - this is another work by the famous Frank M. Calo, the creator of the film "The Silence of the Lambs." "I've acted before, though very little, but I really enjoyed it," recalls Roger, "it's another way of creative self-realization." Speaking of Sanchez's work, it is worth mentioning that his new compilation Azuli "Choice" will be released soon (January 29). This mix by Roger is a kaleidoscope of music genres such as funk, jazz, salsa, electro, and house.
