Rookie Crew — About What You Can Do with Your Hands

On November 5, Thursday, an event "Rookie Crew" will take place at the Solyanka club — about what you can do with your hands. Rookie Crew is a group of people engaged in their own fields, united by friendly relations and a common ironic attitude toward life processes.

The performance of this collective is a manifesto-opinion about music and approaches to it, a blow to the self-esteem of professional musicians, the trendiness of indie music, the pathos of DJing, the conceptuality of contemporary art, and everything in general.

Participants: Maxim Zorykin (bass guitar) - a well-known DJ, Sergey Shpigovskiy (saxophone, clarinet) - a promoter, a beloved figure, Sasha Lymarev (drums) - a well-known actor, Sergey Sapunov (percussion) - a well-known DJ, Anton Lymarev (Fender Rhodes keys) - played bass in the group Gluk'oZa during childhood, Pasha Artyomiev (vocals, melodica) - a well-known member of a well-known boy band, Andriesh Gandrabur (guitar) - composer of electronic music.

"Kaosillator Battle" is named so just to attract attention. In fact, the upcoming action is, on the contrary, friendly and represents simultaneous music creation on stage using a new Japanese synthesizer that fits in the palm of your hand.

Five kaossilators, ten talented hands, and total improvisation - such an event has never happened in Moscow. No one knows what will come of it.
