Summer in San Tropez

On August 6th, Saturday, the 'L'eto project' presents the party 'Let's Sit down on the Track'. L'eto is going to San Tropez. The official pre-party of the party, which will take place on April 12th at the beach 'Nikki Beach' in San Tropez. The pre-party program includes: a beachwear, accessories, and bags collection show by Central Universal Fashion. Special Guest – DJ Kurtis Mantronik (UK). Only a few musicians nowadays have such an influence on modern music as Kurtis Mantronik. Starting in the early 80s, Kurtis wrote and released several compositions that completely changed the music style and were based on Hip hop, electro, R'n'B, dance, and Rock. Kurtis was born in Jamaica, grew up in Canada and England, and first tried himself in music working at the well-known music store Downtown Records in the early 80s. With $80 in his pocket, he released his first DJ set, 'Fresh is the World', which became his first hit. While the store owner of Downtown Records introduced him to Will Sokolov from the legendary Sleeping Bag Records. Other hits that followed included classics like 'Bassline', 'Ladies', 'Cold Getting Dump', 'Who is it?'. In the distant 80s, Kurtis signed a contract with Capitol Records, where he released several of his most popular singles, such as 'Gotta Have Your Love' and 'King of The Beat'. In 2001, when Rbrtis decided that the world of House music needed some Funk, he released a couple of tracks on Ink/Distinctive Records called 'HARRY'S GRAND KIDS' and compilations of Mantronik under the name 'That's my Beat' released by Soul Jazz Records in 2002. Last year, Kurtis released an album on Eye Industries called 'Chamonix' including 77 tracks. The second track, performed by Norman Cook at his Big Beach Boutique, was a huge success among the 250,000 crowd, leading Norman to release this track under his own label, Southern Fried Records. This track was re-released in mid-June with added vocals and played on radio stations like Radio 1, Capital, Galaxy, GWR, Vibe, Beat 106, Forth, Kiss, and MTV Dance. He also appeared on Channel 4's 'Popworld' and BBC's 'Liquid News', undoubtedly leading in terms of features published in fashion glossy magazines. Kurtis also remixes songs performed by popular artists like Linda Clifford, Liberty X, S Club, Isaac James, Junior Senior, and Barbara B., and his single 'C'Mon Lady' will be released later this year on Positiva. Kurtis is also working on several tracks with Rylie for her upcoming album on Polydor.
