For the 11th time, Vostochny Udary brings internationally renowned artists and promises to surprise with a completely new show concept, the stylistic theme of which will be Flashmob. Today, the dance culture in St. Petersburg is at the peak of its popularity. However, having experienced enough of clubs and stereotypical raves, young people now crave not only music but also spectacles. That's why this year, 'Kontrfors' is preparing something truly captivating and unusual for Vostochny Udary. The 11th VU will be a synthesis of a real Flashmob and the best electronic music sound provided by the top DJs from Russia and Europe. The Flashmob movement emerged relatively recently. Thousands of people around the world united with one sacred goal - having fun. With their actions, they do not pursue any selfish goals; their protest is directed against dull everyday life. The mobbers' weapon against boredom is pranks. A professionally organized prank involving 50 or more participants. Streets of Tokyo and Osaka saw hundreds of people dressed as Agent Smith from 'The Matrix,' trying to recreate combat scenes from the movie. The spectacle, as you can imagine, is not for faint-hearted Neo fans. As expected, the action caused feelings of absurdity and incomprehension among observers, provoking various emotions. Like any playful endeavor, Flashmob, in addition to clear organization, requires secrecy since its main condition is surprise. This year, VU is ready to take responsibility for organizing such a show. Whether as a spectator or a participant in this show, VU visitors will have a wonderful opportunity to enrich their lives with the brightest memories and personally take part in one of the most global Flashmobs in the world. This year, VU will gather more than 10,000 people under its banner. Three dance floors and a VIP zone for just one night will become the meeting place for 10 music genres represented by the biggest DJs from Russia and Europe.
