The Sweetest New Year at the Ministry
Клубные российские · 30.12.2003
"Sweet" concept will be reflected both in the musical program (Milk & Sugar) and in the space. On New Year's Eve, your eyes will see "sweet" decorations. Red will be replaced with white and shiny, like sugar. The show program also promises to be sweet - in addition to resident Go-go dancers, who will have special holiday-themed costumes prepared for them, there will be a theatrical performance of "Sweet Fairy Tale." Guests who have booked a table for two in advance for $300 will be offered a bottle of champagne - to raise a toast to fulfilling wishes in the upcoming year, enjoy light snacks, and top it off with fruits. For those guests who prefer to celebrate New Year's in a homely atmosphere but continue the celebration loudly and joyfully, the entrance fee will be $70. A mandatory New Year's gift from the club and the cocktail of the night - "Sweet Milk." Live broadcast of the New Year's greeting from the President of Russia. The culmination of the celebration will be a fabulous snowfall. "Taste the New Year in the 'Ministry'!"
Milk & Sugar Starting with the release of the club hit "Higher and Higher," the group "Milk and Sugar" has gained international fame as one of the leading German musical collectives in house music. Their record label "Milk and Sugar Recordings," which has been in existence for six years, guarantees hitting the top positions of European club charts. And their remixes for Jamiroquai, Janet Jackson, Despina Vandi, Samantha Mumba, BD Boulevard undoubtedly deserve respect. Their next hit "Love is in the year" first sounded in the most popular clubs in Ibiza, where it was in demand by performers such as Roger Sanchez, David Moralez, Full Intention, and DJ Pipi (legendary resident DJ of Pacha club). In Germany and the UK, the song "Love is in the year" topped the club charts and came second in the dance pop music charts. DJs from the most famous radio stations in Europe devoted as much airtime to it as to their previous hit single "Higher and Higher." The first performer of the song "Love is in the AIR," John Paul Young, joined their new project quite by chance. When "Milk and Sugar" signed a contract with the ex-member of the group Bizarre Inc., Angie Brown, they unexpectedly found out that John Paul Young and Angie Brown had contracts with the same record company. John Paul Young agreed to participate in the recording of the house version of "Love is in the year" as well as accompany "Milk and Sugar" on a promo tour. Besides "Love Is In The Air," many Milk & Sugar tracks literally "exploded" Ibiza, one of them being "Let The Sunshine In," the most popular this season in Ibiza, Mykonos, and other famous resorts such as Mallorca and Gran Canaria. It all started at the open-air venues on the island where resident DJs played this track three times per party, and then a whole army of DJs took it on: Pete Tong, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo, Basement Jaxx, George Morel, Groove Armada, Judge Jules, Eddie Amador, DJ Disciple, Tim Deluxe, David Morales, Graeme Park, Slamming Boys, and many others. Mike "Milk" Kronenberger and Steven "Sugar" Harding have recently finished working on their first LP, which was released this autumn. It includes all their previous singles: Higher & Higher, Love Is In The Air, Lift Me Up, and Stay Around. As well as brand new tracks recorded together with Angie Brown (Ex-Bizarre-Inc.), Mica Paris, and Glen Goldsmith. Their tour is scheduled for the next year. Every week they perform at the most popular parties in England, Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Italy. And during their "Disco House Compilation Tour," they played at one of the best clubs on the planet - Space (Ibiza).
