ShantiEaster. Fashion show for all seasons

On Sunday at 'Shanti' there will be a fashion show: designers Alexey Mikhalyov and Arkadiy Parashchuk will present their collections. Alexey Mikhalyov worked as a tailor at the All-Union House of Models, participated in one of the first cooperatives in the late 80s. In the mid-90s, he developed a desire to create his own pieces, resulting in his first collection in 1997. In 1999, he created a collection for extreme sports by order of the snowboard club of Moscow State University. In 2002, at the 'Ethnolife' exhibition, he showcased a summer collection called 'London-Moscow-Delhi'. For three years, Alexey designed stage costumes for the band 'Premier-Minister' and collaborated with Andrey Gubin and Glukoza. In the summer of 2005, he created the first clothing collection for 'Shanti'. Arkadiy Parashchuk was passionate about the sewing machine from childhood, and in the 10th grade, he sewed winter baseball caps from his old mom's sheepskin coat, which sold well for $30 each. After finishing school, he entered the Pedagogical Institute, graduated, and then went to Kiev, where he enrolled in the Institute of Art Modelling and Design, specializing in 'clothing and accessories design'. Three years later, Arkadiy defended his diploma with his first collection 'Busi-do'. In 2002, he took his collection to 'Pearls of the Season', won second place and received a trip to Budapest, where shows of young designers took place. In 2003, he returned to Kiev with a large order from the 'Shanti' restaurant to sew the entire textile group.
