Roof of the World will open its doors today with the Victory party featuring German guest Oliver Koletzki. Undoubtedly, it's a great occasion to warm up for celebrating the end of the '00s. Oliver Koletzki is one of the most prominent representatives of the new wave of German techno. His biography may seem like a fairy tale. In 2005, 20-year-old Oliver released a modest edition of 500 copies of his track 'Der mueckenschwarm'. The record accidentally landed in the hands of the renowned Sven Vath, who played it at a party at the legendary Amnesia club in Ibiza. The master's premonition wasn't wrong - the crowd instantly 'grabbed' the track and took off. A month later, the track was released on the global label Cocoon with remixes by David K, Olivier Berger, Pig & Dan, and Dominik Eulberg, bringing the artist fame as a star of 'new inventive German techno'. Koletzki earned recognition by releasing new original German techno on two of his labels: Stil vor Talent and Flash Recordings, as well as by producing numerous remixes for artists such as Client, Rockers Hifi, Oliver Huntemann, The Egg, Karri O, Daso, and Cassius. His disco and remix discography ranges from dreamy minimalism to hard electro, just like the tracks of his album.
