Sergei Sapunov. The Best Of...

The best DJs continue to introduce readers of 44100Hz to their personal hit parades. This time, Sergei Sapunov presented his musical chart:

"In the first place, I have the 1994 record - Blue Arsed Fly – In The Bag (Russ Gabriel remix). Back in the day, I chased it for about two years and found it in Maxim Zorkin's archives. Originally released on the Ferox label, it has now been reissued on Pariter. I now have two copies: one on the shelf with diamonds, the other always in my bag. I often play it, but treat it carefully like in the old days.

In my opinion, the second place deserves Holmar Fillipson with the record Happy (Crack&Speed Records). Once, Andrei Djungl'o and I were sorting through old recordings and accidentally dug it up. It sounds sophisticated and optimistic, just what you need for Nu:Gravity parties.

And in third place, I have all the releases from 2007 by Martin Buttrich, and hopefully from 2008 as well. No comments needed here.

As for what I plan to do this year, as the hero of the movie "The Courier" said, the plans are the simplest. Every Friday, you can find me at Nu:Gravity parties at "Solyanka". We expect many guests and good music. As before, I will be performing around the country in my free time from Moscow. I really enjoyed Ufa last time, at the "Chasha" club. From the definite plans, I intend to attend Radiohead's concert on June 24th in London. And, of course, Kylie Minogue on June 16th at the Olympic Stadium.

I think in 2008 I will be more active online, for example, on MySpace. A podcast will appear on 44100Hz. Just finishing this text and getting ready to record a mix specifically for 44100Hz. I wish everyone a sense of balance and less fuss.
