Showcase by Pro-tez Label
Музыкальные российские · 14.09.2008
The Pro-Tez label was founded in 2004 by Anton Kubikov and Eduard Karapetyan, who live in Los Angeles. The US-based company aims to help young musicians from Russia and the former USSR get published on vinyl to support young techno and house musicians, helping them get on their feet. This explains the play on words embedded in the name. To date, 9 releases have been produced, introducing listeners and DJs to artists such as Lazzich, Mujuice, D-Pulse, Korablove, and others. The label continues to release music on vinyl, despite the unprofitability of vinyl production and the global sales crisis. Pro-Tez's vinyl products are distributed by Kompakt, and digital versions are sold on Beatport, Juno.Co.Uk, and other online stores. At the international festival of contemporary music and media art Migz, the Pro-tez label will present its showcase with artists like Mujuice, B-Voice & KHz, Korablove, Yuka, and VJ Addams.
