SomethingALaMode record a self-titled album

French label Yellow is preparing to release the debut album of the string duo SomethingALaMode, produced by the frontman of the Parisian electro project Blackstrobe - Arnaud Rebotini. Violinist Thomas Rousel and cellist Yannick Grandjean, known together as SomethingALaMode, have long collaborated with the fashion house Chanel, releasing soundtracks for the brand's shows and stores. In 2006, SomethingALaMode participated in the recording of Jeff Mills' track Blue Potential Live With Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra for the Tresor compilation. Their first album, aimed at dance music fans, will finally be released on November 19, 2009.
