Sonar 2006. What? Where? When?

One of the main music festivals on the planet, Sonar 2006, will take place in Barcelona from June 15 to 17. The line-up of artists is still being finalized, but tickets can already be purchased on the Sonar website. In the process of preparing the festival, the organizers are striving to bring the philosophy of Sonar decisively to all corners of the planet and are preparing an additional mini-festival, Sonar Sound, which will take place on March 18 in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires. The program includes not only renowned masters like Laurent Garnier, Isolee, Plaid, Darshan Jesrani (Metro Area), Diplo, DJ Yoda, and Colder, but also representatives of the local music scene such as Carlos Alfonsin, Spitfire, Romina Cohn, Simbad, and Cristobal Paz. In addition to the two main stages, SonarClub and SonarPark, the festival will feature the Sonar Cinema platform dedicated to audiovisual art.
