The new album "Monpanse" by the project "Vesna na ulitse Karla Yukhana" is set to be released on "Legkie" in the second half of May. In the summer of 2000, "Vesna na ulitse Karla Yukhana" laid the foundation for the global Snow Bunting project to promote "happy music for happy people." When Vladimir Buzin brought his recordings, for nine months the Snow Buntings pondered how to present such an unusual product for the Russian music market. And when more artists of this genre came into view, it was decided to create the special label Legkie. The album "Love and Poverty" by "Vesna na ulitse Karla Yukhana" received a lot of resonance in the press, partly because it was the first on Legkie and partly due to the originality of the collective itself. Following the successful release, the idea generator of "Vesna na ulitse Karla Yukhana," Vladimir Buzin, withdrew into introspection for a long time. Only occasionally did he throw out signal lights in the form of amazing remixes and compositions from another of his projects, 33 1/3, which adorn the Legkie compilations. And only at the beginning of this year, spring came back to Karla Yukhan Street. Vladimir Buzin sat at home behind his computer and literally recorded a new album in three months (the musician recorded the previous album over the course of a year). According to Buzin, the new record turned out to be more popular in sound than "Love and Poverty": "We wanted to make something simpler, more understandable." Vladimir Buzin considers his current work to be pop music, just not in the format of Alla Borisovna Pugacheva, but of a different kind. In the author's opinion, what "Vesna na ulitse Karla Yukhana" is doing now is "modern Western-style pop music." The new album will be rich in live sounds. Vladimir Buzin invited Dmitry Gaushenko to play the trumpet on the recording. The rest of the lineup has changed: Vladimir Buzin plays the flute in almost all the songs, Andrey Kucherenko wrote all the guitars, and the vocals - as always - by Irina Trepakova. As Vladimir Buzin explained, the album turned out to be very diverse. Partly for this reason, it was decided to name it "Monpanse." "It's like in Soviet times there were candies in metal boxes," the musician explains, "they tasted different: sour, sweet, bitter - as it happens."
