Steppin’Session - Five Years Birthday Party

On May 26, 2006, Friday, a festive party will be held at Ballantine’s Bar, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Steppin’Session parties. The event will not be an ordinary affair as such. Especially for this night, guests will arrive from London and the Netherlands - Deeizm, already well-known to the Moscow audience from several events, both under Steppin’Session and the "cafe-party" at "The Modest Charm of the Bourgeoisie". She previously performed in Moscow and St. Petersburg with the famous Japanese wunderkind Makoto, whose collaboration is captured on the 9th Progression Session from Good Looking Records, and is today a benchmark in liquid-funk drum’n’bass. Also, a young Dutchman DJ Mos will arrive from Amsterdam, one of the representatives of the Dutch promo Future Research, whose parties are known far beyond the borders of the Netherlands, throughout Europe.
But that’s not all. It would be very simple for Steppin’Session on the Birthday to “just” bring DJs or artists. That night, there will be a joint mix recorded with Electrosoul System & MC Deeizm, which will later be officially released in Russia and possibly in England. Those who attended the performances of Makoto & MC Deeizm, as well as heard the performances of Electrosoul System in Moscow or other clubs in the country, can guess what a hurricane of emotions this joint performance carries. People following the "music" are well aware of the name of the young "genius" Andrei Burtayev, who hides under the pseudonym Electrosoul System, the rest will get acquainted with this name soon. Today, he is the first and only Russian drum-and-bass DJ and musician to be invited to play in London, not at a "Russian disco", but at a trendy party according to local standards, albeit not the largest, and who is already being booked in Europe.
Besides Electrosoul System, MC Deeizm and DJ Mos, all main residents of Steppin’Session will perform that night, but in quite unusual jams - back2back and with special festive sets, while the well-known breaks guru Ice DJ will perform a live DJ set, where there will be not only turntables but also various FX effectors. And possibly, the climax of the party will be the first exclusive set from the promoter of Steppin’Session himself and his team Smc Pr Crew.
Guests will be offered champagne at the entrance from 21.00 until supplies run out.
