You may have already guessed who we're talking about - for the past decade, Stuart 'Stretch' Sylvester has been behind the decks of the most famous clubs, and his music is heard on dance floors and radio stations around the world. Stretch (as friends dubbed him in honor of the iconic 80s toy - the long Stretch Armstrong) is always at the forefront: Ministry of Sound, Cream, the Space Terrace in Ibiza (he was a former Manumission resident), the Berlin Love Parade (where he played in front of a million-strong audience alongside his friend Westbam), the Playboy Mansion (Hugh Hefner was so impressed with one of Stretch's tunes that he invited him to play at his private party), Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball's wedding (persuaded by Norman Cook), and he continues to play at the renowned Type parties at The Cross (London) and the amazing Playtime at The Egg... Stretch's production work is also flourishing - all three of his projects (Coloursound, Sucker DJs (with Ben Macklin), and Paradise Soul (with Mike Monday)) are making waves worldwide. Not long ago, two of them stood out: Paradise Soul remixed 'Lotta Lovin' (Sucker DJs), which became the 'news of the day' on the respected radio show Pete Tong Essential Selection. What Stuart 'Stretch' Sylvester does is highly appreciated by knowledgeable personalities, from Seb Fontaine to Judge Jules and Laurent Garnier. In addition to the mentioned projects, Stretch has his own story - he has worked under various aliases with various people, for example, the legendary Stretch & Vern, Psycho Boys, Kid Gorgeous; collaborated with many labels - Virgin, FFRR, City Rockers, Wall of Sound, Azuli, Junior Boys Own, and many others... Along the way, he also remixed pop stars like Spice Girls, Simply Red, Robbie Williams, Pulp, as well as outstanding underground luminaries like Felix Da Housecat. What's next? Oh, plenty... Paradise Soul have just finished a remix of the excellent new single by Sia, there are many more singles coming from Paradise Soul and Sucker DJs, and of course, a timely re-release on City Rockers of the eternal hit 'Fly With Me' created by Coloursound.
