Sven Vath prepares for a summer invasion

The Cocoon label is preparing a new season of its parties in Ibiza at the Amnesia club. The summer of 2008 will be held under the motto 'Disco Invaders'! Sven Vath is consistent in his choice - the previous season was titled 'Freak Show', while the upcoming one will be fully devoted to the shredding of minimal funk at its best. In one of his interviews, Sven stated: 'Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, and I are heading into the new summer season from a completely different planet, the planet of minimal, techno, and electro, mixed into one crazy blend. We will land on the roof of the Amnesia club, break through it, and then you will see us dancing in the light of disco balls... Boom!'. Sven Vath also announced the dates for the opening and closing of the Cocoon summer season in Ibiza: opening on June 16 and closing on September 29. This means two weeks more than in 2007 and two more parties. Moreover, a renovated terrace with amazing new sound will be opened next to Cocoon at the Amnesia club. See you at the opening!
